Instead, a step may have been missed when it was being installed. For example, when the machine was shipped, the manufacturer put a temporary drain plug in it to protect it. This needs to be removed before using. If it is not, then leaking can occur. The fix is easy: Take out the drain hose and remove the plug.

If so, you can bet that water has been seeping from the area and you will need additional help.
